The big name casinos such as MGM Mirage, Harrah's Entertainment Incorporate, Bally and many others, all world-class gaming companies, control many of the land based casinos in the U.S.
These same dynamic gambling operations stand to glean huge benefits if online gambling in the U.S. was legalized and they were licensed to operate gaming websites. Because online gambling is so difficult to control and people who wish to gamble online will certain visit website wherever they are located, a huge financial resource is being transmitted to other countries by the U.S. population.
The land based casinos should lobby strongly to support the legalization of online gambling in order not to miss the boat as other countries launch legislation that will permit the practice.
