The term rogue casino refers to a casino that is run with dubious ethics; they are often out to scam their customers in one way or another and should therefore be avoided. The casinos in this list are not just casinos that come with little recommendation; they are casinos that should be avoided at all costs. Casinos Using Fake Licensing and Accreditation Logos/Company Names
One way of knowing that a casino is safe to play with is to look for the certification on the homepage that they are a member of an online casino accreditation company, however, some rogue casinos have cottoned on to the fact that players will look for such signs. As such they may add a logo of a reputable company making it appear that they are affiliated when in fact they are not. This is easy to find out by simply contacting the accreditation company.
However, some rouge casinos go a step further and fabricate whole accreditation companies, so that when a player requests confirmation from the licensing company, they receive confirmation. They make it appear that they have a stamp of authenticity by running a rogue casino and a rogue licensing/Accreditation Company simultaneously.
Certain accreditation companies began life legitimately, but over the years became apathetic and stopped working ethically, they failed to make the correct checks on the websites that signed up with them, never checking their legitimacy. Still others, because they have become apathetic are actually unaware that they are being used by rogue casinos.
