Card Counting: An Informal Technique.

It is the method which is perfect for those players who only want to employ a card counting technique periodically, rather than players who wish to card count professionally.

It is perfect for those of you who do not want to sacrifice too much time mastering a complicated technique in order to count cards- it is easier, but caution must be taken as the results will not be as significant that if you were to learn a more complex method of card counting.

Knowing this basic fact it is then easy enough to evaluate the game, to know if many of these cards (those valued at 10) have been dealt or not and then to wager in consequence to the information that you have garnered.

Observe which cards have been dealt, and if you have observed that over the course of several draws that few Aces or face cards have been dealt then you will probably have a rather strong hand. In this situation it is thus in your best interests to wager larger amounts.

The principle of this most simple technique is to watch for the extremes. In other words, the lack or abundance of cards which are considered to be strong cards in the game of blackjack, and such extremes are usually very easy to spot.

This kind of technique needs to be carried out in a rigid and strategically adept manner, in order for it to work most efficiently.

This technique will only offer you a very slight advantage than you would ordinarily have, had you not employed any technique, but it is so simple to use that it is at least worth trying, and is actually recommended to those players who only want to use card counting occasionally.
