Calvin Ayre is one of the leading figures behind the scenes of the internet gambling industry. He is highly successful, possibly the most successful online gambling expert, he is a creative and innovative industry leader, often where he steps others follow.

Bodog.com became the first trademarked gambling operator in the UK, the USA and Canada in March 2005. Because Bodog is so recognisable, it was named the 7^th most recognisable company in the field of online gambling by London's eGaming Review Magazine.

A reflection of Ayre’s prestigious status, as expert of the online gambling industry, is the fact that he was the only North American online gaming executive asked to discuss the issue of digital convergence during the 2006 Gaming Money Summit, which was held at the London Stock Exchange.
