Software Providers & Bonuses.

A few software providers stand out within the online gambling industry, Microgaming and Playtech, for example. Each software provider has its own particular structure that distinguishes them, one from the other, and one such structure that differs between software providers, is their bonus structures. So how exactly do they work?  

 

Firstly, let’s consider Microgaming:

Microgaming offers its customers the choice of playing for free and getting an initial no-deposit bonus, before signing up for full membership to the casino. This is attractive to players because they do not need to spend any money, while still being able to play for real money.

 

The Casino Rewards Group’s ‘Blackjack Ballroom’ casino has this type of bonus on offer to potential customers. All a player has to do is complete their registration, after which they are directed to a mini-casino room where the bonus can be played out on various games. Initially, a player will be credited with $500 and an hour’s worth of play- although a player can opt out of this allotted time frame if they choose. Once the hour is up, the mini-casino window will end and any winnings are then transferred over to the player’s bonus account. The winnings are made up of the amount that the player won on top of the initial $500, so if the hour ends with the player having $550 in the mini-casino account, then there actual account will be credited with a $50 bonus. But, if the session ends on $450, for example, no bonus will be credited to the real-play account.

 

Next we’ll consider Cryptologic casinos:

Cryptologic offers the traditional welcome bonus to customers. With this bonus, the player will get a certain percentage relative to their initial deposit in the form of a bonus. For example, a 10% welcome bonus would mean that a player would get a $10 bonus if they deposit $100. The percentage rates vary from one casino to the other, but the bonus structure remains the same, i.e. the individual casinos programme the software parameters, but the parameters always operate to the same rules, that is as a percentage of the initial deposit.

RealTime Gaming:

With RealTime Gaming, their casinos also offer the traditional welcome bonus; however, their online casinos have greater flexibility with how they administer their bonuses. For example, their Rushmore Casino has a welcome bonus that is applied to more than the initial deposits. This can be a great advantage to players as it means that they do not need to make a large one-off deposit to get the same benefits that they would elsewhere. The welcome bonus applies to the initial and the second deposit, the player receives 100% bonus up to $400 and $488 respectively. The player is required to play through 15x the deposit and the bonus, and again, only winnings can be withdrawn, so anything made after the play through and exceeding the bonus/deposit amounts.

 

Another of RealTime Gaming’s casinos, Vegas Casino, also allows players to spread their welcome bonus over one or more deposits; with a 125% bonus on the first deposit of up to a total of $125, and 25% on their second deposit, up to the value of $100. Because the winnings and the bonus amounts can be cashed out here, the wagering requirements are set rather high; players must wager 40x the bonus and deposit.

 

Vegas Technology:

Vegas Technology software allows their casinos to offer customers the welcome bonus in the traditional manner, and they are able to spread it over one or more deposits.

 

Golden Casino, one of Vegas Technologies most popular casinos, offers a one-off bonus of 100% up to a value of $555, with a wagering requirement of 10 xs.

 

Millionaire Casino offers a welcome bonus spread over the first three deposits, up to a value of $1000, but with wagering requirements of 20x the bonus and deposit.
