Types Of Craps Bets

There are several types of Craps bets, which give several options to the bettors. The more you know about them, the better prospects of profit arise. However, the most general among all these is-the pass line bet.

In the Pass line bet, one bets that the dice will pass. It is assumed that the shooter is betting on the pass line. If the point is made, the bettors are allowed to take odds by placing from one to five times the pass line behind the line.

The bet in craps, which is free from all the house advantage, is- Odds bets. Another such bet is "double-up".

There are 36 possible combinations of rolling a pair of 6-sided dice. Therefore, on the come out roll, you find 8 ways to win, 4 ways to lose and 24 ways to start a point.

The experienced craps players make the pass line and odds bets. There is also the come wager, which follows the same rules as pass line except that it can be made only after the come-out roll.

There are some strategies, which can help you play the game with more prospects of profit. Like when you bet against the shooter, you must put the long side of the bet. The do not pass bet is mostly undesirable by the bettors here.

There are also One-roll bets, Craps bets, C and E bets (which actually are two separate bets), Horn bets, Field bets, etc.
