Music industry giant Simon Cowell has launched a new roulette based gameshow that could see seven new millionaires made in a week. For one week a new contestant every night will have the chance to win £1,000,000 by selecting whether red or black will win out on the spin of a roulette wheel.

Simon was inspired to create Red and Black by the story of the British gambler Ashley Revell who sold everything he owned to go to Las Vegas and place every last penny - £76,000 - on the spin of a roulette wheel. Ignoring the advice of Hollywood actor and felon Wesley Snipes in Passenger 57 to 'always bet on black', Mr Revell bet on red and doubled up before heading back to the UK.
