Margin: commission conceived by the bookmakers. In general between 6% and 16% of the bets. Details of calculation; Margin= (1/odds1 +1/odds2+...+1/oddsN)-1.

Odds: This represents the amount of winnings in the case that your bet is a winning one. The favourite (that one with the most chances of winning) has, in general, the smallest odds. Outsider: The team that is least expected to win.
Patent: a Patent corresponds to 7 bets on 3 selections in different events. The bet comprises of one simple for each selection then 3 doubles and 1 triple. It is sufficient to win on only one selection in order to generate any winnings. Your winnings are calculated according to the sum of the products of the different odds, multiplied by your bet.
