The Game

Legacy of the Wild 2 slot

The slightly non-standard game mechanics of Legacy of the Wild 2 shouldn’t faze you, and you’ll be spinning with confidence soon enough.

A standard control panel is centred on the spin control, with auto play and turbo mode buttons beside it. Betting controls are a single amount selection.

The pay table is brought up by clicking on the “info” button at the left of the panel and you’ll find further controls in the game frame.

Cascades can deliver double wins, and eventually trigger the free spins round, via a Waveometer at the side of the screen.

The Verdict

While it looks and sounds amazing, Legacy of the Wild slot doesn’t deliver the gameplay innovation that you might expect.

The background and graphics are superb, and the character set on the reels helps to complete a very complete aesthetic world.

The game’s set-up is also non-standard, with a big set of cascading blocks in for reels.

Playtech Vikings are a great company, and they deliver the quality experience you can expect here, but the bonus rounds and gameplay feel a little underwhelming for such a block buster title and they haven’t really moved on from the original game all that much.

The stats are very good though, and if you hit free spins (we wished they retriggered) and start to get a run of cascades then you will be well into the money.
