First Impressions: User-Friendly and Transparent

The landing page is clean and pleasing to the eye, even if not hugely different to other good gaming sites out there. A full-width promo banner advertising welcome gifts is followed by an overview of featured games, followed by arguments to join, followed by a comprehensive footer menu with links to all relevant sections of the website. Very user-friendly, very transparent.

What makes Fortunes Jackpots Casino one of the great UK online casinos?

What you want from a casino will very much depend on you. However, there are some things that mark out a casino as a quality site. There are some things that you should demand to see before you even consider playing at a casino.

Fortune Jackpots Casino looks like a good deal, but what makes it one of the great UK online casinos?

Let’s see!

1 – It’s licensed for UK Players

Never ever play at a casino unless it is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission. It is illegal for UK players to use a casino that isn’t.

So it’s great news for you if you want to check out Fortunes Jackpots Casino that they have a UK Gambling Commission licence. They also have one from Malta, their home territory, which is also good news.

Their license is 9483, in the name of AG Communications Limited, and their licence is completely clean!

Great news.

2 – Fortunes Jackpots Casino is a High-Quality Site

Taste is taste and it is personal, but we love to see a good quality site that’s well designed, looks great and works well.

Fortunes Jackpots is all that. The design is sleek and good looking, without wasting too much of your time, and the functionality is clean and easy to understand.

3 – Fortunes Jackpots Casino has a Load of Games

Slots are the most popular online casino game and you’re hit with a wall of hundreds of them when you arrive at Fortunes Jackpots Casino. The games are arranged in ways that are easy to understand: the most popular titles sit at the front of the site, then you can check out featured games, new games, a list of video slots, and “classic games”.

You can also play a great selection of scratch cards at Fortunes Jackpots Casino, and the casino games include live and simulated versions of all the big favourites: blackjack, roulette, lucky wheels games, and more.

4 – Fortunes Jackpots Casino Has a Great Welcome Offer

If you click on a casino site these days what you’re going to see first is a big welcome offer.

Welcome offers are the way that casino sites can stand out from the crowd.

Fortunes Jackpots Casino has something that is very tempting indeed: their current offer (and this may change, so check when you sign up) is for a 100% welcome bonus worth up to £200, plus 100 free spins.

5 – Fortunes Jackpots Casino Has Great Promotions

There is more to a casino than just a welcome offer, and Fortunes Jackpots keeps the prizes coming. When we checked in on the site there were two slot tournaments, one on Wild Chase, and one celebrating Synot Games.

There’s also a great ongoing rewards programme, with cashback for VIP Players, and a loyalty programme with seven levels that offers a huge slate of bonuses, that include free spins, personal account managers, better deals on deposits and withdrawals, and birthday gifts.

It’s one of the best reward programmes we’ve seen, and it’s just one reason why Fortunes Jackpot Casino is one of the best UK online casinos.

Welcome Bonus: Free Money Doesn’t Come Cheap

Making a deposit of £10 (or more) makes you eligible for a 100% bonus up to £200 plus 20 spins. Another batch of 40 spins will be handed over if you deposit at least £20 the next day, and 40 more upon depositing the same minimum amount on the third day.

If you get lucky while spinning on the house, you’ll have to wager the winnings 35 times. Same play-through requirement applies to bonus cash. Slots generally contribute 100% but there’s a long list of exceptions which count only 50% while popular table games don’t count at all.

Other Promotions: Banking on Loyalty Points

The loyalty program features 7 levels and good motivators to keep climbing up the ladder. Points are, as usual, awarded for real money bets and most games will earn you 1 for every £40 wagered. Progressing up the loyalty ladder enables access to very tangible benefits like express cash-outs, better point redemption rates, higher deposit and withdrawal limits and personalized offers.

The “top VIP players”, meaning those that have managed to reach Platinum, Premium or Prestige level, also get to collect monthly cashback. Other promotions are time-limited, such as currently active slots tournament with wager-free prizes as high as £2,000.

Deposits & Withdrawals: Good Choice of Payment Options

Fortune Jackpots supports loads of deposit options and among them Visa and MasterCard, Skrill, Neteller, Trustly, Sofort, ecoPayz, PaySafeCard and Zimpler. There may be fees to pay and you’ll see what they are while making the payment. Players are able to cash out a minimum of £10 per transaction and no more than £7,000 per month, which is obviously way too low. The Casino takes 2 business days to process withdrawal requests but at least you won’t be charged for it.

Download-Free Access to 600+ Casino Games

The Casino has thus far collected about 660 RNG and live games developed by NetEnt, Microgaming, NYX, Evolution Gaming, iSoftBet, Big Time Gaming, Barcrest, Pragmatic Play, Blueprint Gaming, IGT, Bally Wulff, Booming Games, Red Rake Gaming, Inspired Gaming, JFTW and Iron Dog Studio, plus a few other smaller providers. I can access them directly online and exploit a limited free-play opportunity as “all practice accounts have a limit of 250 games”. There’s no reason to doubt fairness since iTech Labs regularly checks RNG used with all non-live games.

Video Slots

You’ll find many of NetEnt’s older hits (Gonzo’s Quest, Aloha, Blood Suckers and the inevitable Starburst) as well as popular Thunderstruck II, Rainbow Riches, Taco Brothers, Foxin’ Wins and the likes. Filtering options are very limited and you can either search by name or display recently added titles such as Valletta Megaways and Temple Of Nudges.

Classic Slots at Fortune Jackpots Casino

Classic slots being bundled up with the others is far from ideal. If you care to browse the entire slots offering, you’ll find titles such as Jackpot Jester 50,000 and Jackpot Jester Wild Nudge.

Jackpot Games

If looking for a chance to become an instant millionaire, Fortune Jackpots is not the place to play at. The name is actually a bit misleading as the Casino doesn’t feature any high-paying progressive jackpot slots. Instead of popular Mega Moolah, you’ll find far less rewarding titles such as Divine Fortune and Cosmic Fortune.

Live Games

Live Casino section provides access to 60+ tables powered by Evolution Gaming. More than a dozen play roulette and feature limits of £0.10-£2,000. You’ll find Lightning Roulette willing to pay huge amounts as well as games using an automated wheel and playing with or without La Partage rule. There are several native options and among them London, Deutsches, Svensk, Norsk and Dansk Roulette.

Live Blackjack is most likely to appeal to high-rollers with limits as high as £10,000. Infinite Blackjack has not been included so one needs to invest a minimum of £5 per hand. The Casino offers a good selection of Live Baccarat (No Commission, Speed, Squeeze) with limits of £1-£1,000 and Live Dream Catcher. Sadly, there are no Live Poker games.

Table Games

The collection of RNG games is nowhere nearly as large as the live gaming offering. It consists of several Blackjack and Roulette variants, 3 Card Solitaire and a few dice games.

Video Poker

The same goes for the choice of video poker games. I managed to find Jacks Or Better, Joker Poker, Deuces Wild and nothing else.

Other Games

If you don’t like any of the above-mentioned games (unlikely but could happen), check out the selection of scratch cards and other alternatives, among which Bingo, Keno, Sudoku and specialities like Fast Hands, Goal Kick and Dancing Domino.

Direct Help Available During Limited Hours

The FAQ list is pretty decent and there are customer service agents capable of filling the blanks. Direct contact can be established via Live Chat, email and phone, but you should know someone will be there to answer only between the hours of 8 am to 1 am (CET).

Fortune Jackpots Casino is available on Desktop or Mobile

About 500 casino games remain available on the go and are instantly accessible via iPhone, iPad and Android smartphones and tablets. The vast majority are slots but one also gets to play Evolution’s exquisite live dealer games. The well-designed interface enables quick and easy access to each section of the site.

My Real-Play Experience at Fortune Jackpots Casino

The first thing to do was to open an account. The 2-step registration process is pretty standard and takes less than 2 minutes to complete. I had to enter my email address, choose username and password, and then provide other personal details (full name, date of birth, address and mobile number), select currency and click the box to confirm acceptance of Terms & Conditions.

Once done, a pop-up window has informed me an email was sent to my email address with my account details, just in case I should forget them later on (very possible, considering I’ve already registered at hundreds of other gaming sites). Login was automatic and I could head straight to the cashier to transfer funds into my casino account.

The choice of payment options depends on where you’re from and mine may have been more limited than yours would be. Being a traditionalist, I went for MasterCard and had to accept a fee of 2.5% (not appreciated!). At least the transfer was instantaneous and an amount of €10 quickly became available to play with. Now it was time to decide where to invest this modest budget. I’m not a slots fan; RTP of 95-95% is not really enticing and I’m one of those players that prefer to use (real or imaginary) skills rather than rely 100% on luck. But as it’s my job to test different games, I did a few spins anyway.

Making a Deposit
fund your account with £10 or more

The spinning was already in progress when I noticed that I was playing with twice the amount deposited, meaning the bonus was credited automatically. Yes, it does say so in Bonus T&C and that’s why it’s important to read them before you do anything. If you don’t wish to play with the Casino’s money, you have to tell them in advance. More specifically, “when you open a new account, you have the option of not receiving the Fortune Jackpots welcome bonus by clicking ‘later’ at the end of registration process”. Personally, I don’t like it when operators choose to credit bonuses automatically, it seems kind of sneaky. Having to clear wagering requirements easily sucks you into playing more than initially intended and potentially investing more than you really feel comfortable with.

Either way, I lost the lot. Playing slots has proven to be as profitable as expected (not at all), Live Roulette (which I bust at by default) delivered the same result, and placing Banker bets in Live Baccarat didn’t do much to improve my bottom line. Having joined Live Blackjack, I experienced what it’s like to play at a private table. It was me against the dealer and an early Blackjack gave me hope I may be testing the withdrawal process sooner or later. Following a few bad decisions, hope was gone and my balance too low to do anything about it.

To be honest, Fortune Jackpots Casino looks much better at first sight than once you familiarize with the entire package. Yes, it’s safe, user-friendly and features a lot of great games, but bonus terms are not as transparent as I’d like, loads of games don’t count towards (high) wagering requirements, the promotional catalogue is modest and maximum withdrawal limits very low.

There’s not much to choose from for those who dislike slots and poker fans have been completely neglected. Having decided to cooperate with Evolution Gaming, the operator could have easily given us a bigger selection of live dealer games, Live Poker included.
