Queenplay

Queenplay Casino Overview

God save our noble queen! This queen is Maltese, though she rules over UK casino players too.

Queenplay Casino is a brand from Aspire Global, via Marketplay, who run a slew of casino sites. This one is branded on games, games, games. There’s not much of a theme or gimmick to be honest, though the queen is a purple-haired young woman in the images we’ve seen, so quite different from the venerable Queen Elizabeth II.

You’ll have seen plenty of sites like this: the design is simple and mobile-friendly, with an infinite scrolling front page jammed full of game tiles: slots at the top then developing down the page to bring in table games, others, and, now, of course, a live casino.

It’s a big live casino too, with Evolution Gaming titles.

And at the top, ruling over it all, we have the welcome offer.

This is worth making a splash over, as it’s 100 spins and up to £200, though we’ll examine this in more depth later in this review. The rest of the promotions page is devoted to a loyalty scheme.

UK & Malta licensed

There are the UK and Maltese licences in place, and you can play this casino from across Europe, including in native languages in Germany, Finland, and Norway. The site takes pounds, euros, Norwegian Krone, Canadian and US dollars and Japanese Yen.

You can join up from £10 (also the minimum withdrawal, nice). There’s a load of payment methods to choose from, this is a PayPal casino.

The auditing we’ve seen tells us that Queen Play has more than 700 slots from more than 60 providers, and they include all of your favourite titles from developers big and small.

The site provides a lot of good information on fair gaming, security and privacy precautions, how it keeps your cash safe, playing responsibility, and customer support, which like other sites in this family is guided by the motto CARE “Customers are Really Everything”. There is seven-day-a-week customer support.

Should you allow this queen to rule over you though?

Let’s have a look.

Queenplay Casino Pros and Cons

One day someone will design the perfect online casino site, and that day we can shut up shop and put a link to the site on our front page. Until then we’ll keep probing and testing.

So here’s why you should allow Queenplay Casino long to reign over you – and why you should get the guillotine out.

Queenplay Pros

1 – This is a licensed, legal, and legitimate site

The Wild West days of the internet are receding into the past now. Some people miss it, but among those who won’t are the many would-be gamblers who lost cash to dodgy sites.

You can play online slots and casino games safely at thousands of sites these days, but you’ve got to do a bit of legwork yourself.

First of all, check that the site is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission. Queenplay Casino has a Maltese licence, like a lot of sites based on the island, and also a UK GC one, which you must look for at every site you use.

This confirms that Aspire Global, in the name AG Communications Limited, hold the licence to deliver remote bingo, casino, and betting services and that they also use the names Generation VIP, Hopa, Karamba, Scratch 2 Cash, and Neptune Play.

There are no sanctions on their licence.

2 – The have more than 700 games

Licences are a necessary evil. Wouldn’t it be lovely if everyone did the right thing without needing legislation to make them do it – sadly, that’s a fantasy. What the licensing facilitates is safe access to loads and loads of lovely games.

There are at least 700 titles at Queen Play. You can list them in a number of ways and search by game name or provider to find the titles you want.

3 – A great live casino

Live casino games are all the rage in 2020. These games reproduce the experience of playing in a real-life casino – with all the glamour and excitement – without the player ever having to get out of their dressing gown.

There’s a really big selection of games at Queenplay Casino, from Evolution Gaming who are the most respected provider in this exciting area of the online casino world.

4 – A nice fat welcome offer

We’ll go into more detail about this later on, but a welcome offer of up to £200 is very tempting. When you add in 100 free spins, which many players prefer to cash, then you’re looking at an offer that’s hard to say to. The Queen treats her subjects well too, with continuing bonuses and a loyalty club as well.

5 – Customer service

Another are we’ll look at more deeply as we explore Queenplay Casino is the customer service. It looks good though, with some good information provided to players all over the site and live chat available seven days a week to a good time table.

Queenplay Cons

Nobody’s perfect, right? Not even you!

So here’s the downside!

1 – Same old same old

Sites like Queenplay Casino are branded on a framework provided by a single company. We’ve already seen from the licensing that Queen Play is part of a family of sites. There are a lot of companies operating like this. It’s completely legitimate, and you should treat each site on its merit, but it does mean that a lot of sites end up looking similar and providing similar services – you’re probably sharing customer service operators among a number of sites here, for example.

So judge Queenplay as an individual site, but if you’ve played around AG sites then you might find this queen is somewhat familiar.

Queenplay Games and Software

Although it is a group site, we do not that Aspire Global sites all have one thing in their DNA and that’s that they always supply a huge number of the top games from the best producers. As soon as you arrive at Queen Play you see a huge choice of games of every style.

To help you find them there are categorisations and search functions.

Let’s take a browse.

Queenplay Slots

The site opens on featured games.

These are titles chosen by the site. We don’t know exactly why they’re showcasing them, but it’s probably to do with their popularity, and also, maybe, because there’s a relationship between the site and the producers, who want their games shown prominently on front pages and in lobbies. Nothing wrong with that, but we do always encourage our readers to look beyond the first few titles fi they’re going to get the best out of a site.

Here the top featured games are:

Rich Wilde and the Book of Dead, Dragons of the North, Wolf Riches, Starburst, Eye of Horus, and Solar Queen, so that’s a good mix of old favourites and new releases.

If you want to see new releases only you’ll see a list that starts with:

Riddle Reels A Case of Riches, Win a Beest, Gold Volcano, Quantum Clash, Hot to Burn, and Sin n Hit.

Select “Slots” to filter out some genres. Again, this title list will probably be governed largely by popularity, and it opens with: Starburst, Mighty Sphinx, Riddle Reels A Case of Riches, Win a Beest, and Gonzo’s Quest.

Classic slots often get a separate listing, and here that means titles like: Pentagram, Jackpot Jester Wild Nudge, Hot Cross Bunnies Loadsabunny, Win a Beest, and Jackpot Jester 50k. (We wouldn’t classify all the titles in this list as classics, but categorising slots is notoriously hard.)

Table Games

Table games are featured at Queenplay Casino as both simulators and live casino games. Simulators allow you to play on your own against a computer – we’ll cover the live casino in-depth later on.

There’s a good selection of all your usual favourites – and more – at Queen Play Casino.

Including:

Roulette

The roulette games include: Instant Roulette Live, Turbo Roulette, 10p Roulette, Sapphire Roulette, American Roulette, Classic Roulette, European Roulette, 3d European Roulette, Roulette Pro, and Roulette Royal.

Blackjack

Blackjack is the most popular card game in the casino. There’s a big selection of titles and variants at Queen Play, starting with:

Blackjack Multihand, Vegas Downtown Blackjack, Vegas Strip Blackjack, Blackjack Single Hand VIP, Blackjack Multihand VIP, Blackjack Single Hand, Classic Blackjack, Atlantic City Blackjack, Vegas Single Deck Blackjack, Blackjack Classic, Blackjack Solo, and BJ Royal Pair.

Beyond these games, you’ll also find baccarat.

ScratchCards

Scratch cards are sometimes filed in with slots, sometimes in their own category. At Queen Play they have a page all to themselves, which suggests that there are a good number of fans of this game style at the site. They work basically like a real-life scratch card, a sort of one-shot slot.

The top titles are: VIP Black, 7th Heaven, Slot 777, Royal Slots, and X&O.

Bonuses at Queenplay Casino

You’ll see the welcome bonus loud and proud at the top of every page at most online casino sites. But you should also look beyond that as you check out a site. A welcome bonus might lure you in, but a site that is worth spending some time with will also offer you some ongoing giveaways, and hopefully a loyalty scheme.

Let’s have a look at what Queen Play have on offer.

Welcome Offer at Queenplay Casino

Starting at the top then, the headline offer from Queenplay Casino is “100 spins and up to £200 bonus”. That is granted on a percentage basis, with the site chipping in either a cash match or half of what you deposit in your first three deposits up to the maximum.

And now we come to the small print.

The minimum qualifying deposit is £10, and to claim the full bonus you need to make three deposits. The first bonus will earn a 100% bonus of up to £50 and 20 free spins on Starburst, the UK’s favourite slot.

The second deposit gets a 50% bonus up to £75 (so you deposit £150).

The third deposit gets another 50% bonus worth up to £75.

The minimum deposits to qualify for the second and third deposit bonuses are £20.

Once you’ve made your first deposit you get 20 spins on each of the next four days.

First on Finn and the Swirly Spin. Then on Book of Dead, then on VIP Black, and finally on Aloha! Cluster Pays, a great selection of games.

There is a wagering requirement (or play through) of 35-times bonus on the bonus and on the free spins winning.

That means that you must play with 35 times the amount you receive as a bonus before you can withdraw any of the winnings you make with the bonus.

To open that up, it means that if you deposit the minimum, £10, £20, and £20 you’re allowed to unlock the bonuses, you’ll get a bonus of £30, and you’ll need to deposit and wager £1,050 of your own money before you can take out any money you won with that £30.

Spins have to be used within a day of receiving them, bonus funds within 3 weeks.

You cannot win more than £100 with your bonus or free spins – in total.

There is also a long list of restrictions of certain “betting behaviours” on the site, and different games count different amounts to paying off your wagering requirements.

If you’ve never experienced a casino welcome bonus before we can understand you being shocked by these terms. However, they are standard throughout the industry, and, in fact, Queenplay Casino has quite generous terms.

To us, they simply underline the fact that you shouldn’t really look at cash figures with welcome bonuses, and should instead use them as a free pass to play at a site for a while to see if it’s worth investing in for the long term.

Other Promotions

The only other promotion we found at Queen Play was the loyalty scheme called The Inner Circle, this is a loyalty programme that rewards players for spending at the site and which offers increasing awards the more you spend and the longer you spend at the site.

Queenplay Live Casino

Love live? Then Queenplay has a lot to offer.

The site has as busy as live casino screen as it does a slots list.

Please remember a couple of things with live casinos.

Betting at entry level may be higher on live casino games. You can’t really play a live game – with a member of the staff remember – on demo mode or for free, so make sure you know what you’re doing before you sit down. Treat members of staff in live casinos with respect – they deserve to be treated just as well as you would like to be. But don’t make financial or gambling decisions based on anything other than the games you enjoy, and what is good for your wallet and your health: these aren’t dating sites!

Now, on with the fun!

Please remember that live games are not all available at all times, and seating may be restricted on some games, so you may not be able to join.

Live Roulette

There were 18 tables open on our visit to Queenplay.

They included German, Danish, Italian, and Norwegian-language titles. There were also VIP and Salon Prive games. And dual play, double ball, lightning, American, European La Partage, Auto, Speed, and immersive versions of the game.

Titles seem to come from Evolution Gaming.

Live Blackjack

There were 56 blackjack tables open when we visited. They included a huge level of variation on betting levels, VIP tables, and Salon Prive games, there were also free bet, party, infinite, and high-speed versions of the game.

Live Baccarat

There were 20 baccarat tables open when we visited Queen Play.

They included the usual variants, including no commission and squeeze games.

You can also play Sic Bo and Dragon Tiger at the site.

Queenplay Mobile Casino and App

Mobile is taking over the internet world. More of us go online on portable devices than via desktops these days. That means casino sites need to offer a great service to mobile players.

That could mean an app. This gives you the ultimate in convenience when accessing a site. But it can tie you to a site too closely, as you’re more likely to tap an icon on your home screen than browse to a site.

Mobile sites should offer you a good selection of games but may lack some of the exclusive content or payment options you’ll find with an app.

Queen Play uses a mobile site rather than an app. You’ll find mobile versions of many of their games at the site, just browse theirs on any device you use to go online.

Banking

There’s a good selection of banking options at Queen Play, all of them trusted.

The site has good encryption, privacy and security precautions in place, and good information on how they work.

Here’s what they have with the deposit time and (withdrawal) following:

  • Debit cards, instant (4 to 6 business days)
  • Bank Transfer, instant (6 to 8 bd)
  • Trustly, instant (3 bd) Euro and Krone.
  • Skrill, instant (3 bd)

  • Neteller, instant (3 bd)
  • EcoPayz, instant (3 bd) not pounds
  • PayPal, instant (3 bd)

  • Giro pay, instant (N/A) Euros only
  • Interac, 24 hours (N/A) Canadian dollars only

  • AstroPayCard, instant (3 bd)

  • Paysafecard, instant (N/A)
  • INSTADEBIT, instant (N/A) Canadian dollars only.

More payment methods are likely to be added in time, with crypto and mobile payments becoming more mainstream.

Customer Service

Care is what they say: Customers are Really Everything. But how is that delivered?

Queen Play say that they have a support team available seven days a week from 8 am to midnight (central European time).

You can contact them via live chat or via a web form for email.

There is a dedicated document uploader that allows you to prove your identity when required.

The Final Verdict

This is a good site, and we’re happy to see Queen Play on the market.

There is plenty on the positive side at this site. It comes from a proven provider, and at Queen Play, Aspire Global do what they do with all their sites by packing in high-quality gaming titles across all genres and styles.

The design is pretty simple, and if you want an incredibly complex or sophisticated site then you might want to look elsewhere.

If you want hundreds of slots and a huge live casino then you should certainly take a look at Queen Play.

Also strong at AG sites are customer service, a clean licence, and a good welcome bonus. The terms on this one are OK, and it’s nice to see free spins included with an offer.

It’s a shame that there isn’t slightly more variety in the promotions on offer, and perhaps that is something that Queenplay Casino will build on overtime.

The range of banking options is very good. We all love to see PayPal, and the site tells us that they take security and privacy seriously – clean licence, remember!

If you’ve played at other sites from Aspire Global and you’re not a fan then maybe you should browse on, but we think that this site is different enough in its own right to warrant your attention even if that’s the case. If you’ve never encountered the group before then this might be a great place to start.

Long to reign over us, remember, and we’re happy to sing the national slots anthem for Queenplay Casino!
